Clinical Course and Lipid Metabolism Indicators in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure of Ischemic Genesis and Coexisting Hypothyroidism

Cardiac diseases, especially chronic heart failure which, according to the World Health Organization, affects 1.5-2% of global population, are number one cause mortality and morbidity worldwide, including Ukraine. Chronic is often accompanied by endocrine disorders, hypothyroidism, diagnosis which has increased over past 10 years, facilitates rapid progression due reduced metabolic processes altered lipid metabolism.
 The objective research was study clinical manifestations, metabolism indicators their relationship in patients with ischemic genesis coexisting primary hypothyroidism.
 Materials Methods. 73 average age 55.92±2.66 years were examined. They divided into 2 groups: Group I included 38 hypothyroidism; II comprised 35 without hypothyroidism. course itself hypothyroidism studied, patients’ quality life evaluated, myocardial function studied means 6-minute walk test, profile analyzed determining serum levels total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. To assess thyroid function, thyroid-stimulating hormone thyroxine determined electrochemiluminescence immunoassay.
 Results Discussion. worse as compared cholesterol differed between both groups (p<0.05).
 Conclusions. Blood more significantly impaired that could result failure, a severe course, frequent complications. higher condition better.
